Telogy High Density Gateway Release 11

I recently started working on a field issue that involves the TI TNETV3010 DSP (aka JANUS). (I tried the part number in the E2E Part Number field, but it was rejected). We run the Telogy High Density Gateway Release 11.0, on an array of these DSP devices on our G6 platform. The field issue occurs every few days on our G6, where the DSP throws an exception, resulting in the DSP requiring a full reboot to recover. I am working to find the source of this problem.

I seek your help in deciphering the exception codes that are sent by the Telogy stack when the fault occurs.

DIM: 37:*, DSP ERROR: Reason= Exception 0x1803
DSP: 37:*, ALARM= Software exception (bits=8 numeric=1552)
DIM: 37:*, BRINGING DSP DOWN (dependents also)!!

I have scoured the documentation, "High Density Gateway - Release 11.0 - April 2006", for any mention of this exception code, or how the code was assembled.

Can you assist?

  • Hi Matt,

I am very sorry. I think this is a EOL device. We can no longer offer direct support for this device on the E2E forum as we have no one with knowledge to answer your questions. You may search the E2E forum for archived posts of previous discussions which may help address your questions.
