Hi team,

The customer uses the ANSYS designer to import the IBIS model in the DRA821 SERDES section, start the simulation with the following error:

The ANSYS feedback is data in the IBIS package, and the .enc file in the folder is encrypted and the software cannot resolve it. So the customer would like to know is there any way from TI can support signal integrity simulation with ANSYS?

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Inside TI We use Cadence-Sigrity SystemSI and TopXP tools for IBIS-AMI simulations. We have used Keysight ADS tool in the past.

Is there a chance for the customer to use one of those tools?

The encrypted models are from a 3P vendor and should be tool agnostic.

Thanks for your help. The customer don't have ADS or Cadence-Sigrity and only Electronic desktop emulation tool from ANSYS is available. While ANSYS replies that IBIS has been encrypted and cannot be opened. Could you help check this? They have to do simulation regarding the high-speed chip.
