Hello,

My customer is testing the operation after designing the power block of the DRA821U processor by referring to the user guide below.

Powering DRA821 with TPS6594-Q1 and LP8764-Q1

A revision is also planned baed on the test results.

Recently the TPS659414 device was not found on the TI web.

Will the recommended PMIC device for the DRA821U change?

Please provide information about the DRA821U power block design.

The DRA821U power solution presentation is available on CDDS (TI internal). Do you have access?

The user guide showing how to power the DRA821 is accurate. Are you asking why the PMIC part number is not available on TI.com? Sorry if I mis-understood the initial question.

Hi Robert,

My customer has already built and tested a DRA821U ES board using PTPS659414F4RWERQ1.

The TPS659414 was published on TI.com in PREVIEW status.

The customer now need to revise the DRA821U ES board, but TPS659414 is no longer available on TI.com.

Please provide a reference guide for designing the DRA821U power block.

The TPS659414F4xxx PN has been updated to reflect the production release version (RTM) as TPS6594141Bxxx.

I have emailed to you 2x slide sets as follows:
1. "Jacinto7 J7200 Pwr Sols v1.6.pdf" that is latest recommended power solutions for DRA821 (Generic PN J7200) showing RTM PNs.
2. "PMIC PG2.0 Updates w J7 PDN Impacts v0.7.pdf" that summarizes all PMIC RTM (PG2.0) updates and any HW, SW & Safety feature impacts.
3. I have copied PMIC FAEs (Phil Yi & Michael G) on this email who can assist the customer with any details or follow-up questions.
