Multi instance musb on 816x EVM board

I have the 5.01.00.52 EZSDK and DDR3 816x EVM board. I want to do some evaluation of this board with one of the USB controllers in Host mode and the other USB controller in Peripheral mode.

The latest "TI81xx PSP USB User Guide" that I found says that due to a software constraint, "one port as Host mode and other second port as Device mode (multi instance musb with dual mode support)" isn't supported.

Is this still accurate? Has any work been done to add support?

If not, is it just the software that is the deficient, in which case perhaps I can modify the musb initialization code myself?

I don't want to spend a lot of time going down that path if there are any hardware issues with the part or the EVM that would prevent it from working.

Any advice or pointers to info would be greatly appreciated.

I need to know about this as well (we need to use the USB in device mode, and it would definitely be good if we could use the other USB core in host mode).

We have plan to add this feature (one port as host and other as device), this is more applicable for OTG mode, current TI816X/TI814X does not support OTG, in the current scenario we need to make workaround solution to enable this feature.
