Hi all

I use DM8148 SDK_5_00_00_26 version

And I don't have daughter card

Use SDK_5_00_00_26 pre-build uImage and Filesystem

I want to use HDMI port (on EVM) display

When Power on EVM the log always print "Error open /dev/fb0: No such file or directory"

How can I do to modify this error and how to bring up HDMI driver

And where have latest SDK version for TI814X-VPSS-Video-Driver-UserGuide_PSP_04.01.00.04 spec

Hello,

The next SDK release for DM8148 is planned in Jul-end. The latest PSP version available at that time would be in the SDK package.

Hi all

I have one question

I get TI8148 VC daughter card and find HDMI Tx(Sil9022) and HDMI Rx(Sil9135) on it

but I also find HDMI Tx on TI8148 EVM

If TI8148 EVM have HDMI Tx , why VC daughter card HDMI port need another Tx IC

Phil,

The HDMI TX on the VC daughter card was added for flexibility and potential dual HDMI display.

Hello Naveen,

When do you expect the next SDK release for DM8148 ?

Is there any chance for video access from Cortex A8 (idealy GST layer ) instead of the M3.

last may , our local TI FAE talk about a release for june...

Hey ,

i'm using this line to do capture from DM8148 , i'm streaming the capture data into windows pc .

streaming line is :

gst-launch v4l2src device="/dev/video0" always-copy=false queue-size=12 num-buffers=2000 ! 'video/x-raw-yuv-strided,format=(fourcc)NV12,width=1280,height=720,framerate=(fraction)25/1' ! omxbufferalloc numBuffers=12 ! omx_h264enc bitrate=5000000 ! gstperf ! h264parse output-format=0 ! rtph264pay ! udpsink host=192.168.16.106 port=5000

receiving line is :

gst-launch-0.10 udpsrc port=5000 ! 'application/x-rtp, media=(string)video, clock-rate=(int)90000, payload=(int)96' ! rtph264depay ! ffdec_h264 ! xvimagesink sync=false

the receiving line works great on linux system , but on windows system it doesn't

any help ?
