TDA4VM: Setting Output Pin with PRU0 fails

Part Number: TDA4VM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCAN1043,

Hi,

I would like to control a GPO Pin via PRG0_PRU0_GPO7 form PRU_ICSSG0.

I want to measure some timings and latencies with the oszilloscope. I use the our board with SDK8.0.

However, "it does not work". I can't see any change of signal on the GPO pin. The following describes my setup:

1. modify k3-j721e-eaik.dts:

main_mcan9_pins_default: main-mcan9-pins-default {
    pinctrl-single,pins = <
    J721E_IOPAD(0xd0, PIN_INPUT, 6) /* (AC27) PRG0_PRU0_GPO8.MCAN9_RX */
+    //J721E_IOPAD(0xcc, PIN_OUTPUT, 6) /* (AC28) PRG0_PRU0_GPO7.MCAN9_TX */
>;
};

2. modify k3-j721e-common-proc-board.dts

transceiver1: can-phy@0 {
    compatible = "ti,tcan1043";
    #phy-cells = <0>;
    max-bitrate = <5000000>;
    pinctrl-names = "default";
    pinctrl-0 = <&mcu_mcan0_gpio_pins_default>;
+    //standby-gpios = <&wkup_gpio0 54 GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW>;
+    standby-gpios = <&main_gpio0 50 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>; // PRG0_PRU0_GPO7
    enable-gpios = <&wkup_gpio0 0 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>;
};

mcu_mcan0_gpio_pins_default: mcu-mcan0-gpio-pins-default {
    pinctrl-single,pins = <
    J721E_WKUP_IOPAD(0xb0, PIN_INPUT, 7) /* (F26) WKUP_GPIO0_0 */
+    //J721E_WKUP_IOPAD(0x98, PIN_INPUT, 7) /* (E28) MCU_SPI0_D1.WKUP_GPIO0_54 */
+   J721E_IOPAD(0xcc, PIN_INPUT, 7) /* (AC28) PRG0_PRU0_GPO7.GPIO0_50 */
   >;
};

The actual measurement PRG0_PRU0_GPO7 pin did not pull up,

How do I need to configure to use PRG0_PRU0_GPO7 pin?

Thanks in advance & best regards,
Jie
