AMIC110: Multicast MAC addresses

I am using the TI AMIC110 processor. I need to configure it so that on receiving some multicast MAC addresses, it would only get sent to the host processor and not propagated out the other port. And for other multicast MAC addresses, it would be both sent to the host processor and propagated out the other port. I have tried setting this up but without any success. Could you point me in the right direction of how to configure the switch in order to be able to do this?

We are using the ThreadX RTOS and the NetX TCP/IP stack

Hi Jianzhong,

Thank you for your reply. As Matt mentioned, they're using ThreadX RTOS, but using the Processor SDK RTOS with Industrial SW Profinet. Could you look into his quesiton as Processor SDK RTOS application ?

Attached is a patch which can be applied to "ti/drv/icss_emac/firmware/icss_dualemac/src/emac_MII_Rcv.asm" file in PDK.

The MAC addresses 01:80:C2:00:00:X X= 0 to 10 will be forwarded to host only. Storm prevention will be skipped for these MAC addresses.
