Hi Expert,
I want to use two RMII interface of CPSW to connect with a external PHY-TJA1102(compliant dual-port Ethernet PHY).
However, I'm not sure what to do with the RMII_REF_CLK and CLKOUT signals. Please help confirm the feasibility of the following two designs.
1.The CLKOUT acts as a reference clock source for PHY and TDA4's RMII_REF_CLK, does it can driver 2 PHY and route back to TDA4 RMII REF CLK?
Whether a clock BUFFER is required?
2.The RMII_REF_CLK clock for TDA4 is provided by the PHY , and the PHY clock source is a 25MHz crystal oscillator.
