TDA4VM: How to load VisionApp mcu1_0 demo

Hello,

now Our company needs to modify the fw of MCU1_0, which is currently developed under the demo of visionAPP。

we use the emmc startup method, spl+uboot to start,。

but currently MCU1_0 is a default prbuild fw loaded。

we hope to be able to load the fw which is compiled by VisionApp demo。

plese help me, what changes do I need to make?

Hi You,

What SDK version are you using?

If using SDK >= 7.1, you need to rebuild A72 U-Boot to use the VisionApps MCU1_0 firmware into the tispl.bin binary.

Please see the section MCU1_0 Application Development with SYSFW in the RTOS SDK documentation.

Hi,

now we use the SDK V7.3,

if we want to test the MCUONLY demo mode switch, in emmc and spl+uboot mode,

Which demo do we need to compile？

now, I found one demo in the mcuss -> boot_app_mcu_rtos, it use the sbl startup mode, can it used in spl+uboot mode?

Hi you zhang,

No, this demo uses SBL -> BootApp flow, it cannot be directly used in spl + uboot mode. You would have to port the MCUOnly boot changes from BootApp to SPL..
