Hi
This is a follow-up on : http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/omap_applications_processors/f/447/t/58680.aspx "Setup a secure world environment using Trustzone" (since the initial question already has one suggested answer it seems more rational to create a new topic for this related issue).
Is the policy regarding Trustzone the same for general purpose OMAP4x devices as for general purpose OMAP3x devices ? More precisely, is it possible to access the "secure world" (after having set up a custom security monitor or by using some built-in monitor for handling SMC calls) on a Panda Board or equivalent ? Or is the NS bit (in the Secure Configuration Register) somehow set to 1 by the first stage bootloader (ROM Code) without any possibility for the developer to set up the secure environment before this switch to the non-secure world ?
Apart from the post mentioned above, there seems to be very few hints of developers willing to use security technologies such as TrustZone and/or M-Shield on development board. Are these technologies reserved to TI's partners or are they publicly available ?
Thanks in advance,
Gabriel
