AM3703 RTOS Support?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3703

Do the AM3703 processors have RTOS support?  I couldn't find much other than Linux and Windows CE? We were looking at Micrium, Greenhills, QNX, ThreadX, etc....

Please advise, thanks

  • Paul,

good question... the current state as I see it is that most vendors at least have or are working on a Cortex-A8 base port. That would cover quite a few of our devices (OMAP35xx, AM35xx, AM/DM37xx, AM389x + future). Now what device exactly has been used and what level of driver support (all peripherals?) is available at the moment is much more difficult to find out. I think you will need to contact them individually with your detailed requirements.

As a start you migth want to look at the list on our web. The RTOS category on the wiki does not have more than this link at the moment. Something I still plan to change in the future.

    Regards.

  • In addition to Frank's response I also want to state that Mentor Nucleus and Quadros RTXC are also ported to the AM37x. I'll make sure the list on the web is updated.
