    Billy:

    The internal ROM provides the boot loader functionality for both peripheral and memory booting.

    The AM3517 Tech Ref manual is available here.

    Chapter 24 describes all the details of the various boot modes.

    Section 24.4 describes the details of initialization by ROM code.
