TPS65070 Availability and Alternates

Hello, 

We would like to verify availability of TPS65070 PMIC before embarking on AM1808 based design. Distributor stock seems to be sparse and dwindling, and lead times are a bit out. If TPS65070 is indeed scarce, what PMIC should we be looking at as an alternate?

    Hi

    I have forwarded your query to the PMU team to recommend additional solutions.

    I had recently heard of some other alternatives , more cost effective, for AM1808 like; TPS650006, plus the TPS3808G12 supervisor for sequencing, or TPS65001 with a built-in supervisor.

    PMU team should be able to suggest more recommended solutions.

    are you planning to use DVFS etc on AM18xx?

    Hello

    Lower cost alternatives are TPS650006, TPS65000, and TPS650061.  These are "power"only devices.

    Also, TPS65073 is a more recently introduced product; it is packed with both "power" and "signal chain" resources.  For fewer features, please consider TPS65053 and TPS65023.
