TDA4VM: TDA4VM GPIO input read error

Part Number: TDA4VM

Hello expert:
Thank you for viewing,I have a problem that use TDA4 pin AH22 GPIO0_40
Operation step:
1. I configured the GPIO AH22 & AE26 (reference) as input pins, and the pin is not connected to the external load.

pin AH22 & AE26 is no longer configured

  AH22 & AE26 config read back(after sscilloscope operation)

2.The voltage of the test pin is right at room temperature,

 room temperature

3.but the voltage of the test pin of AH22 is reversed when the temperature is -40°C, as shown in the figure.

-40°C

Now, the abnormality of AH22 affects project development, can you help me?

thank you very much!

  • Hi,

How many units / systems is this issue observed on?

What do the following registers show at room and cold temperature?

    • GPIO_DIR23 (physical address: 0x00600038)
    • GPIO_OUT_DATA23  (physical address: 0x0060003C)
    • GPIO_IN_DATA23  (physical address: 0x00600048)

    Regards,
    Kevin

  • Hi,

Also, I am not sure I really understand the scope images.

You have mentioned SOC pin AH22 as the problem pin, but this pin appears to go high in both scope images.

Additionally, if this pin is disconnected from the rest of the PCB circuitry, are you measuring on a trace? Are we positive that the trace has been fully separated from the rest of the system?

    Regards,
    Kevin

  • Hello Kevin,

      thank you for view!

I will read physical address at different temperature next week.

At present, TDA4 is on the pcb we designed, and other functions run synchronously, but AH22 is independent and connected to nothing,AH22 input function is configured

    Thanks&Regards,

    WH
