CCSTUDIO: CCS ver 10.1.0.00010 setting shortcut key

This key shortcut is not setup by default. I tried to create a custom binding following the step in the last post in the thread below:

But It did not work for me. I tried a few other options was variying success, but none that mimicked the desired behavior exactly. I'll keep trying and if I find a solution, I will post it here.

I can create a keyboard shortcut to add an expression to the watch window.  However it does not pick up what is currently selected in the editor.  I don't see a way to do what you want today.

Here I setup shortcuts for both the entries under keys for adding expressions.  However if you look at my expressions view at the top right you can see that it just adds "=$" to the expressions view and does not add the selection.

The method that Mr.ki introduced me didn't work too.
The method that Mr.JohnS introduced me also worked the same as Mr.JohnS.
But unfortunately that is not the ideal behavior. 

If you find out anything, please let me know. I will try various things.

We believe this may be some bug with Eclipse. It should work the way you are expecting. Unfortunately we have not found a workaround for this so far. If we do find something, we will let you know.
