TDA4VM: USB Device Mode Driver Example

Hello,
In another e2e forum post it was mentioned that the USB Device Mode or XHCI drivers are currently included in the TDA4 PSDKLA. I was wondering if Ti has created any example applications that make use of this, or otherwise has documentation related to these specific drivers on the TDA4 that I could be pointed to.

Hi,

The TI PSDKLA release does support both Device mode and Host (XHCI) mode of operation on the USB0 port of the TI TIDA4VM EVM, based on the type of type of USB cable connected to the Type C port.

The drivers are part of the kernel repo. Please look in the path: https://git.ti.com/cgit/ti-linux-kernel/ti-linux-kernel/tree/drivers/usb/cdns3?h=ti-linux-5.10.y
