Updating kernel+fs without risk

Hi all,

I have flashed kernel and filesystem on my DM365EVM and now I want to burn my own updated version of kernel+fs instead.

I want to do it without any risk to lose the original kernel+fs before the new version been verificated.

I wonder if someone heard about project where the new version burned to the EVM (side by side with the original version), and only after the verification of successfully copy, the replacing executed.

I want to prevent the situation when in case of interrupting (board power down for example) the new version flashing I will stay without any kernel on my board.

Thanks in advance.

Alex.
