I would like to ask a question on product sample.
I am from China. When I contacted TI Shanghai to ask for samples of DM6437 chips, they told me that their policy is not to provide free samples to individuals (which I am) unless I have a registered company.
Due to this, lots of TI chips I am going to use are bought from a famous Ebay-like site in China, which hosts numerous vendors for virtually all sorts of electronic components but also some selling counterfeited products among them.
I am in fact not very confident on the quality of TI chips I bought online from that site. Is the no-sample-to-individual rule very stringent? Could anyone here give me some suggestions on getting free samples from TI China?
