TDA4VM: This file named hdmi_test_v2.c test fail.

I test this file, and find it fail. so i want to known how to use it and it test success.

Is this demo depended on HW? My board use DPI1 connect to hdmi screen. I see the source code is DPI0, so i modify DPI0 to DPI1, then compile it.

i find that it test fail. the log is below.

In fact, the hdmi cable is connect to my board all the time. then i delete hdmi cable detection code, and recompile again.

i test this demo app, it also fail, this is new log as below. it stop in Dss_init function.

Hi xie jc,

Any specific reason for using this test? There is another example in the DSS drivers folder ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-08_01_00_13\pdk_jacinto_08_01_00_36\packages\ti\drv\dss\examples\dss_display_test, can you please use this test? It supports eDP, HDMI and DSI output..

My board is use DPI1 connect to hdmi moniter. so i want to display video image in hdmi moniter.

Now which demo is work in my board?

If i want to get video data in TDA4 soc, what is the memory address? Can i dump the video data by CCS tool?

This is my video data flow.

DPI1->ADV7511->hdmi moniter

Hi xie jc,

How is dpi1 connected to the ADV chip? Is it over discrete sync interface or embedded sync interface?

Can you please use DSS example in the drv/dss folder?

I setting DPI1 connected to ADV7511 with discrete sync and embeded sync in source code, but they are not work.

Now i test dss_display demo, it is fine from logs, but none display in hdmi screen. This is the logs as below.

i want to display normal in my board. now why it is none display but logs show fine.

as i ask you last time, please answer this question.
