EMIFA pinout mode question

Hi All,

 

I would like to ask a question on EMIFA pinout mode of DM6437.

 

 

 On page 93 of DM6437 manual, it is said that

  1. BOOTCFG.DAEM latches AEM[2:0] pins at reset
  2. However, PINMUX0.AEM can be changed by software

 

Does it mean by writing values into PINMUX0.AEM, the new value there will take effect and control the EMIFA pinout mode, while the BOOTCFG.DAEM values which were latched at reset will only remain there but do not affect the pinout mode any more after PINMUX0.AEM’s change?
