HDMI Input and HDMI Ouput Processor or DSP

We have used this TDA EVM board in the past to do some form of implementation of what you have mentionedt. https://www.ti.com/tool/TDA2EVM5777

Currently we do not have any official reference designs but are looking into developing a setup and provide a reference design for customers related to the setup you have mentioned in the future.

Fortunately i have TDA2EVM5777 and also DMD5530 EVK, can you provide an application note to do the same ?

one more important concern i have is why the vision application board of TDA2x EVM is using 7511 / IC from Analog devices for HDMI to parallel conversion ,but not TFP401A, is my stated approach will work well ?

Sorry for the inconvenience but unfortunately we do not have any application note or any working setup of the system you are looking to create. There was a previous project related to this but has been discontinued.

can you reply to my concern of planning to create a TFP401A->TDA2x->TF401 Chain ? will this work ? does TDA2x has drivers to recieve and drive from TFP401x ICs?, the EVK on contarary uses a HDMI converter IC from Analog devices which has caused this doubts.

What is the difference from analog ADV7611 and TFP401A ?

One thing i need to mention here is even through the hardware connector used in DMD Kit is HDMI , it actually takes DVI input, similarly i also need to care about DVI information only, as my data has no audio.

But my main question is about Usind the TVP chip sets with TDA2x

How to or can i use TFP401A to convert the incoming HDMI to processor input and do the processing and further throw the output data to TFP410, will it work ?

Yes, if the TFP401A can output in DPI interface, ie parallel interface and i guess TFP410 converts DPI interface to HDMI, it would work fine.

very sorry for naming the ICs wrong,

Its TFP401A and TFP410

I have seen TDA3x design using TFP410 in its reference design

but did not seen TFP401A any where , so i am little skeptical on using TFP401A for HDMI inputs with TDA2x failmy, kindly confirm it TFP401A can be used with out any issues for TDA2x, my video input is maximum of resolution 1080p.
