What board do you have? I have the C6A816x-EVM DDR2 version. Mine came with NAND and SPI flash but no NOR. The only way to get NOR is with a daughter card as the address and data lines go to those connectors on the bottom of the board.
The documentation talks about SW1 and NOR but they are not on the EVM ... they are on the daughter cards.
