TMS320C6678: EVM TMDSEVM6678LE REV. 3B changes compared to REV. 3A

Hello,

We have the schematic and many other documents for the Rev. 3A version of the TMDSEVM6678LE EVM. We obtained these from the Advantech web site. The EVMs that we have recently purchased are Rev. 3B. What changes were made from Rev. 3A to Rev. 3B?

Are there any updated documents available, specifically any documents which are not found on the Advantech web site?

So far we are not able to track down the details on 3A vs 3B. Can you take/attach a picture of your EVM focusing on the rev and part number info?

Hi Larry,

I received confirmation from Advantech. There is no difference in the PCB/schematic between 3A and 3B. The 3B is denoting changes in the exact part numbers (preproduction vs production) that are used for the components on the PCB and don't affect functionality.
