Hi, I'm developing with Omap35xEVM (OMAP3530), using Android Froyo, and Eclipse for the apps. I'm developing for DSP on Eclipse, like using audio recording and playback, video, even OpenGL, but with NDK Android tool you can develop on Code Composer Studio. My question:
It is necesary to program with Code Composer Studio for using DSP? or is just another way to do it?

With Eclipse, we are using all capabilities for DSP? what about DSP/BIOS link, we are using this?

If you use TI Android DevKit releases or rowboat.org, the DSP is hidden by Android multimedia framework (OpenCORE or Stagefright) and Dalvik Java VM.

Directly using DSP for non-multimedia purpose is not ready in Rowboat yet. But for DM3730 the whole DSP S/W stack in TI DVSDK4.xx such as DSPLINK, Codec Engine and DMAI is already integrated into Rowboat, you could develop you own DSP interface using NDK for Java Apps, CCS will help you to debug the development, but it is not necessary.
