Ways to reduce power during cpu idle? OMAP-l138

So we first only had the wait for interupt impletemented but that didn't seem to reduce power usage at, so we lowered the clock and voltage on our platform to 1.0v and 100mhz for the core. Out of 2.5 mA previously being used total, it dropped it a whole .1 to .2 mA. I was wondering if there was anything else that can be done to get better results, this is just while the CPU is idle...

I don't actually know the % of the 2.5mA that the cpu is actually using, I havn't discovered how to test those yet, so I don't actually know how much it was actually reduced,

Have you tried the power consumption spreadsheet to see if your numbers are in line with what is expected? Are you using both ARM and DSP cores, and if not is the other core powered down completely?

I'll be looking at that spreadsheet quite a bit soon, but the DSP may or may not be on at this point, but what we are trying to do before we branch out to the peripherals is focus on the cpu. Mostly for wince its got a OEMIdle that runs whenever the cpu idles, so I'm looking for anything and everything I can do to just the CPU, we didn't see any power savings with the WFI so we took the next step.
