DRA821U: Mac address for 5 port switch

Hi ,

We are using TISDK 8.1 uboot + RTOS+ QNX environment.

It appears MAC address for cpw5g is hardcoded in RTOS to "70:ff:76:1d:92:c1". Please advise how to change QNX/RTOS code to use custom MAC address ?

Currently all our custom PCBA's are getting same IP address and we are blocked with this issue.

Hi Swapna,

For Qnx CPSW5G Virtual MAC driver, the MAC address can be customized if you move to the latest PSDKQA 8.2 release.

Please refer to the user guide. The option is "p0mac=XXXXXXXXXXXX", for Custom MAC address to use on virtual port.

However, this is only for the virtual mac driver on Qnx (A72).

Other virtual mac driver running on R5 cores will still have the same MAC address.

You can find the MAC address pool are defined by EnetBoard_getMacAddrList() in ~/pdk_jacinto_08_02_00_21/packages/ti/drv/enet/examples/utils/enet_board_j7xevm.c.
