Hi.
We are testing our new software on TMDSEVM6457L board now. As it is rather large, we have to load some part of code/data into DDR2 RAM. So we are looking for the way how to boot the system through EMAC directly to DDR2 RAM.
EMAC booting to L2 RAM works fine, but as built-in boot loader doesn't initialize DDR2 controller properly, application can't be downloaded this way into DDR2 RAM directly without changing DDR2 control registers first.
Reading "TMS320C645x/C647x DSP Bootloader User's Guide" (spruec6f.pdf) didn't bring us an answer whether it is possible or not.
boot_test package is a great example, making a lot of things clear, but it contain only I2C to DDR2 boot example.
Thank you.
Dmitry.
