about AVS Power Management of DM8168

hi all

i wonder if there r no VID-4 bit to control the AVS1.0V core voltage to management power of DM8168 , what is the power consume total when DM8168 is working at 16D1 encoding mode ? can we just provide the constant voltage to the AVS1.0 Core Domin ?

    Hello,

    TI will provide a driver to enable the AVS functionality of the DM8168.  The plan is to include this in the next PSP release.

    A power estimation spreadsheet will be released very soon that will enable you to predict the power consumption for your specific use case.

    The AVS functionality is required for proper device operation, so a variable power source is required and you cannot just connect it to a constant voltage supply.
