AM6442: MDIO connection for CPSW and ICSSG interface

Hello,

On my design I have two Ethernet PHY connected to AM64 with RGMII interface. One is connected to CPSW and the other to PRU/ICSSG.

Is it necessary to use two different MDIO interfaces to control both PHY ? Or is it possible to use only one ?

One MDIO interface can be used to manage all the PHY's.

Correct, recommend to use PRU/ICSSG MDIO if there are industrial ethernet use cases as latency to this MDIO from PRU cores is optimized in HW.
