There are issues using the current DDK GPU driver and I would like to update it to a newer version of the GPU driver. How can I do this?

    As a disclaimer, these procedures are applicable for updating the GPU driver from 1.13 to 1.15. In early 8.x SDK releases, the packaged GPU driver was the 1.13 version which was less stable with the 5.10 Linux kernel. The 1.15 version of GPU driver is more stable on 5.10, and could resolve some GPU related instabilities with 8.x SDK.

    For building and installing the GPU driver, please reference the following PDF created by my colleague Krunal Bhargav:

    PVRTune_Update_Workaround.pdf

    Please note that umlib only has prebuilt binaries available, and km needs to have the same version as umlib (e.g. km with version 1.15.6133109 needs to be used with umlib with 1.15.6133109)
