CCSTUDIO: Cannot find files in CCSV6

Hello Champs,

I'm asking this for customer. The CCS version used by customer is CCSV6, and the device is TMS320F28377S

After customer importing the project and debug, they found that the following information was displayed in the console window(They are using the Chinese version of CCS, "找不到" means "cannot find").

At the same time the Problems window shows no errors. However, there will be problems when the program runs due to the lack of files. The customer checked the corresponding path of "cannot find file" and found that there is indeed no corresponding file.

After checking, it was found that the problem was caused by import. In the imported source files, these "cannot find" files exist. But after importing the project into the workspace, there is no corresponding file in the workspace path. It looks like these files are missed.

Could you please help to deal with that? Many thanks!

The "cannot find" messages are not of concern during a project clean. Sometimes it is expected depending on the state of the build.

The key is to see if there are any errors during the project build. It appears there are none, hence things should be ok.

Hi Ki,

The customer stated that the project does not seem to be compiled at all. Although there is no errors in the problem window, the project does not generate .out file and hex file after being debugged.

So maybe there is still something wrong.

Can the customer provide their full build output when they try a "rebuild"? They can copy&paste all the text in the build output window to a text file and then have the text file attached to this thread

Hi Ki,

After the customer rebuilds, the problem is still not solved. I have uploaded the txt files of the console window of the first build and rebuild.

Here's an extra information, customer say their computers have recently had encryption added but haven't had a problem for a long time. Recently, this computer(only this one) of customer has started to have the current CCS compilation problem. Customer tried to reinstall CCS and the problem was not resolved. Hope this information will help.

Thank you for the additional information.

An exception was encountered when running XDCtools. Both the XDCtools and CCS versions being used is very old (and unsupported). Would it be possible for the customer to update to a more recent CCS version?
