TMS320C6746: Initial state after pin reset

Part Number: TMS320C6746

Hi Team

What's the C6746 pin's initial state after power reset

  • Hi Harry,

Please refer to the datasheet (link) for this information. Starting at 3.7.1 "Device Reset, NMI and JTAG", through section 3.7.23 "General Purpose Input Output".

These sections provided tables with the "Pull" column. At the bottom of each table within these sections are Notes clarifying the impedance state, and the state during and after RESET for each pin.

Lastly, not exactly related to your question, is section 3.8 "Unused Pins' which might be of interest to you while you review the terminal configurations from the sections mentioned above.

    Regards,

    Colin

  • You will need to look find the pin of interest in the Pin Multiplexing Control Registers (PINMUX0-PINMUX19) section of the TRM to understand which signal function is being selected by default.

Each PINMUX register has eight 4-bit fields which control signal multiplexing of pins. The signal function assigned to the value of zero is selected by default after reset.

    Regards,
    Paul
