TDA4VM: Upsampling/Downsampling Frames to Increase/Decrease FPS

Part Number: TDA4VM

Hi,

Does TDA4 support upsampling/downsampling to get variable frame rates as per needs? Eg: If i am getting 45 frames and i want to upsample to produce 60fps output for the display, what are the possible options does TDA4 provide in this regard. 2. If we are to use 45fps directly for display, are there any preferred methods to avoid judder in TDA4?

Regards,
Dinesh

  • Hi Dinesh,

I really doubt this is related to TDA4, as fps changes need to be handled typically at the upper layer.

Yes, TDA4 can receive data with different fps, over CSIRX and can also send it out, but what requires to avoid judder needs to be handled in upper application layer.
