dm6467 bt.1120 compatibility

We have a custom design using the dm6467 with the vpif connected to an fpga. The fpga is used as part of a conversion process from bt.1120 to hd-sdi. While analyzing the bt.1120 output from the vpif we noticed that the line number and crc information is not filled in correctly. We need this information in the generated hd-sdi stream for compatibility with various monitors, and we are trying to avoid having to recreate this information in the fpga if possible. Looking through the vpif documentation it was not apparent that we even have the ability to influence the line number and crc output from the vpif.

Is the vpif capable of outputting the line number and crc in compliance with bt.1120 specifications? If so, what registers control whether or not the line number and crc are output from the vpif?

Thanks,

Greg
