AM335X STARTER KIT

Hello. I have AM335x starter kit. I want to control LCD with this and I want to play video. I don't know how to use it. From what I've researched, there are several methods. Can you help me how to do it with the easiest method and where to find the application videos?

Hello,

I would recommend you to start with the opensource framework called gstreamer. It gives you the ability to play videos and the following page has instructions for getting started: https://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/documentation/tutorials/basic/gstreamer-tools.html?gi-language=c. For example, on AM335x, start weston (/etc/init.d/weston restart) and run the command "gst-launch-1.0 playbin uri=file:///usr/share/ti/video/HistoryOfTIAV-480p.mp4" to play video.
