SK-AM64: GPMC initialization / GPMC clock

Hi,
I'm developing on the AM64x GPEVM. I'm trying to send data via DMA out of the GPMC. I've based my initialization code on this E2E posting:

e2e.ti.com/.../3813044. After initialization, I don't see anything coming from the GPMC output clock.

I've noticed a number of items:
- Do I have to set up pinmux data or configuration? Where / how? I don't see anything in sysCfg.
- I don't see anything related to GPMC in generated files. I have GPMC selected in "Reserve Peripherals" in sysCfg. I've tried with GPMC both selected and not selected.
I don't see anything for GPMC in the software selection in sysCfg.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Lee,

I would expect that you need to perform a Pinmux in order for this to work.

I am checking at my end what exactly reserving a peripheral means to sysconfig as I se it does not generate any code. Give me sometime to check on that.

Hi Lee,

Unfortunately the reserve peripheral view does not generate any pin settings right now.

It is more of a representation on what pins are being used. So you need to manually configure pins for GPMC.
