Why Davinci 814/816 EVM do not include a HDMI Rx?

It is so weird, that it has almost every interface we need but HDMI Rx.

Will be any updated version which has HDMI Rx?

If this is the case, what is the time table for that?

The HDMI Rx is on the separate catalog daughter card.

How can I connect the daughter card with the EVM? I mean which interface will be used.

Jun,

The connection to the daughter card is at the bottom of DM816x EVM. Unfortunaly, the HDMI receiver is not available to non NDA customers and required additional licensing through the HDMI organization due to HDCP decryption. There will not be a generally available HDMI receiver board due to HDMI/HDCP licensing requirements. We cannot give out HDMI receivers legally.
