No new EZSDK for DDR2 EVMs?

I see this on the new EZSDK page:

Attention C6A816x/AM389x Users: If you have an older EVM that supports only DDR2 Memory, then only the older 5.00.00.56 release is available for direct download. Please find the software downloads for DDR2 EVMs at the 5.00.00.56

Are owners of the DDR2 EVMs out of luck?

  • Ok, then why this statement in the download page:

Attention C6A816x/AM389x Users: If you have an older EVM that supports only DDR2 Memory, then only the older 5.00.00.56 release is available for direct download. Please find the software downloads for DDR2 EVMs at the 5.00.00.56

I am not going to go to all the trouble to attempt an install if I am not certain the new SDK will work.

We have updated the information on the download page. The EZSDK can be downloaded and used on existing DDR2 EVMs. There are instructions for upgrade that I have put in the other post. Please follow those and instructions from Iain to upgrade your installation.
