XDS100

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DM3730, OMAP3530

Can I use XDS100 for emulation with DM3730 ?

  • Please see the Wiki topic Debugging Beagle with an XDS100.

The OMAP3530 is similar to the DM3730 for emulation purposes, and it looks like the XDS100v2 will support at least C64x+ emulation on the DM3730.

  • Randy,

      Thanks for the reply.

The wiki link says that the ARM core isn't supported (CCS v4.02 at least) , which is strange since the OMAP has the same ARM core.

      Then there is a link  : http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Linux_Debug_in_CCSv5

in which there is an example of stop mode debug (with CCS 5.0) where the xds100 is employed and the claim is it works on davinci chips too.

Should I assume the CCS 5.0 supports debugging with xds100 of the ARM core on the DaVinci's ?

     Regards,
