TDA4VM: Failing conformance tests on TI OpenVX

We are running the TI OpenVX conformance tests from Linux. This is a clean built system based on TI PSKRA 08_00_00_12

The test always hangs in the same group of tests "tivxHwaVpacNfBilateral". Sometimes it stops at test 0012, 0015, 0018, this varies a bit from run to run.

We have noticed that MCU2_0 is always asserted when this happens. It is halted at prvTaskExitError()

We have recompiled various times in both release and debug configurations, but never have been successfull running the conformance tests on this release.

Any advise on how to get this fixed?

Hi,

Are you running the conformance test in the PC emulation mode or on EVM?
If EVM, are the testcases passing in the PC emulation mode?

We are running on the EVM. To be able to run in emulation mode is need ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-xx_xx_xx_xx-linux-x64-installer.run

- we are booting Linux
- log in as root using serial terminal
- cd /opt/vision_apps
- source ./vision_apps_init.sh
- ./vx_app_conformance.out

That is all. I have not seen any follow up regarding the package needed for emulation mode. Who can enable me to get this package?

I have just checked and you have access to the PSDK RTOS AUTO add on package.

Hello,

It would be great if you could share the logs of where the test is stopping.

Are you performing the conformance test on default release SDK 8.0 or are there any changes made from your end?

As I tried the conformance test on my EVM for SDK 8.0 multiple times and it has completed the execution every time.
