CCS V5.1 with 6678L EVM

Hi,

I've recently purchased the 6678L EVM and waiting for it patiently. I know that it comes with a tailored version of CCS, but I'm currently using CCS V5.1 with a 560v2 blackhawk jtag emulator. Will I be able to use the tools I currently have with the EVM or I will have to use the ones provided ?

I'm currently running a blackhawk xds560v2 jtag emulator with the evm6678l and the software that comes with the kit (5.0.1) without too much trouble. So, I would imagine that after you install the updated MCSDK you should be good to go.

Ok. Once I'll get the board, I'll include/install the MCSDK in my CCS v5.1 and see how it goes.

rzo, BIOS MCSDK 2.0 has been validated with CCSv5.0.2.00006. So we expect no issues with v5.0.2. We are still in the process of validating MCSDK with CCSv5.1 so until that validation is complete I will hesitate to guarantee 100% compatibility.

We just released a Beta-2 version of BIOS MCSDK 2.0 yesterday. That release was also tested with CCS 5.0.2.

When the BIOS MCSDK 2.0 production release comes out, it will have been verified with CCS 5.0.x . Most likely this will be 5.0.3, for which there is a release candidate you can download:
