AM625: Is it possible to warm reset the A53 from the R5 without resetting the R5 itself

I believe, A53 can be reset using TIFS from R5 without resetting the R5 itself. What is the use case here? Are you expecting some error in Linux causing A53 to crash and the R5 resetting the core for recovery?

No Linux, customer is running their own OS on A53's and are replacing TIFS with their own firmware. I realize this is outside the normal usage model. 

Can you confirm the TIFS running on the R5F can reset the A53's without resetting the R5F itself. If so, then that means it can be done. It would be a matter of figuring out how that's done which I can work separately with them.

Thanks for confirming although the reply you received is not very concrete since it starts with 'I believe'. Was hoping for a definitive answer but I suspect is it doable and will go with that. I'll go ahead and close this.
