Can Evita-full be implemented on DRA821u GP device?

Or should use DRA821u HS device to implement Evita-full?

There is no security / secure boot in GP devices.

You must use HS device if you want security features.

Hi Steve,

As I understand, Evita-full stack will be implemented on DMSC block of DRA821u and want to check if this evita-full stack can be implemented on GP device as well when secure boot feature is not needed.

Do you mean the security features like trustzone is not supported in GP device, and thus Evita-full can not be supported on GP device of DRA821?

The HSM (EVITA) stack can be implemented on GP device.

Our third-party Vector did the initial integration and testing on GP device.

However, this just provided the security functionality for testing purposes.

On a GP device, there is no SoC security applied, no secure boot, JTAG is open to access, etc. and so nothing can really be trusted.

It could be useful for developing functionality but is not secure.
