I am using a single McBSP on a 5509a to communicate with 4 AIC33 codecs. One of the the 4 codecs is supplying the frame sync and bit clock in a 256 bit transfer mode (DSP mode). Occassionally the transmit from the DSP will slip exactly one sample size. Some of our hardware seems more prone than other hardware to this event. RFIG and XFIG are both set.
GSYNC is set to 0 and FPER is also set to 0. Could this be the source of my problem?
