GStreamer

Has anyone was able to get GStreamer to work with arago? and if you did can I see the filesystem or tell me how you did it?

  • Here an example (jresize and jpeg encoding) based on dvsdk4.02 on dm365

    gst-launch v4l2src always-copy=FALSE ! queue ! videorate ! 'video/x
    -raw-yuv,width=720,height=480,format=(fourcc)UYVY,framerate=(fraction)10/1' ! TI
    VidResize contiguousInputFrame=TRUE ! 'video/x-raw-yuv,width=320,height=240,form
    at=(fourcc)UYVY' ! TIImgenc1  resolution=320x240 iColorSpace=UYVY oColorSpace=YU
    V420P qValue=75  engineName=codecServer codecName=jpegenc numOutputBufs=3 !  tcp
    serversink port=10000

    I would like to do the same integrating it in arago and OE, but I have to do it.

  • I have also a h264 pipeline and streaming working.
    I have not yet clearly understood anyway if gstreamer in dm365 is recommended or it is better to move to dmai layer.
    The goal is h264 encoding and udp streaming

  • Thank Raffaele, were you able to get it working with a camera sensor? I seen this done with montavista, but I havent seen anyone able to get a sensor working and able to see on the web browser, and this chip been in the market for almost 5 years I think.I seen the DM355 is becoming obsolete before it became an end product. :( I hope is not going to be the same with the dm365
