Graphical LCD interfacing with AM1808

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM1808

Hi,

I had some doubts about interfacing graphical LCD with AM1808 processor

1.With reference to AM1808 evaluation board schematic, can DVDD3318_A be connected to +3.3v

2. If +3.3v is is supplied to DVDD3318_A then can we give directly +3.3v to graphical LCD without transceiver circuit

3. From evaluation schematic board schematic, in bit mapped LCD controller contains these 3 pins (M_LCD_BACKLIGHT_PWR, M_LCD_PANEL_PWR, M_LCD_PWM0)

Does these 3 pins directly connected to GPIO pins of AM1808 Processor

Thanks&regards,

  • Hello Kapil,

Are you trying to modify the board?

Please share what you are trying to achieve.

Regarding your questions, here are my thoughts:

    1. yes you can connect that to 3.3v. I think you can program the PMIC.

    2. which transceiver are talking about? U26 on the baseboard? You don't need a level shifter if your i/o are both 3.3v.

    3. They do seem to be connected to GPIO pins of AM1808.
