Please help.
Hi Shrinidhi,
You dont require to run "make vision_apps" after "make sdk". Just run "make sdk", it will generate all required executables.

Brijesh
Hi Brijesh,
You are rite. I missed the errors on "make sdk".
"make sdk -j8 also has same errors as mentioned above.
any clues on what can cause this?
Hi Srinidhi,
Is this the bare minimal SDK? Have you made any changes in the SDK8.2 release?
I am able to build and run SDK8.2. So wondering what changes?
Regards,
Brijesh
Ok i did a fresh extarct of sdk and ran
1) setup_psdk_rtos.sh
2) from vsiion_apps folder i ran "make sdk -j8"
I'm getting the same errors and i don't see a c7x.out.
i have "ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-08_02_00_05.tar.gz" from here: https://www.ti.com/tool/PROCESSOR-SDK-J721E
Yes, i am also using same release. Are you building it on ubuntu 18.04?
Also please confirm you are running setup_psdk_rtos.sh from top PSDKRA folder?
can you try "make sdk_scrub && make sdk"?
Regards,
Brijesh
- ubuntu 18.04.5
- yes running "psdk_rtos/scripts/setup_psdk_rtos.sh " from SDK folder
- Tried "make sdk_scrub" and "make sdk"
Still facing the same issue
There is something else Srinidhi, We have tried building this release on multiple ubuntu machines and it works fine everywhere.
I am suspecting if this is to do with 18.05.
We support only 18.04 ubuntu, not sure what is the difference.
Was it working for earlier SDK on the same machine?
Regards,
Brijesh
It is 18.04 itself. It's 18.04.5 specifically. And yes SDK 7 and SDK 8.1 worked fine.
Can you try on some other machine and see if it works?
Also can you try running without -j option?
Regards,
Brijesh
Have already tried without -j... Same issue.
Trying it on another machine. Will update you
