How to debug the DSPLink based application of OMAP-L138 chip?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAPL138, OMAP-L138

Hi,

These day I am working on the DSPlink module, I compiled the sample(eg:loop and message) in the SDK provided by TI successfully, then I use NFS root filesystem to run the samples successfully. After this, I decide to try to write my own DSPLink application, but I am a little bit confused about how to debug the DSPlink based application on each cores of OMAPL138? Do both two cores' applications write and debug under Linux OS? Can I build the whole DSP side DSPLink based application in the CCS? I am so much confused on how to write and debug the DSPlink based application on each cores. In the samples provided in the SDK, I found that the .out file such as loop.out or message.out on the DSP side is created when I compile the DSPlink samples, but if I want to write my own applications, how can I create and debug the .out file on the DSP side?

I have already refer to the docs in the SDK and so many wikis of TI, but I found it a little bit hard or unclear for me to understand how to debug the DSPLink...

So much thanks for your help...

     Best wishes,

     Regards.
