Does the AM6x support Jumbo Packet Buffer Manager (Jumbo PBM) ?
I found Network NDK support the feature accroding to below linnk. But I am not sure if SITARA AM6x can support.
Jack,
we are checking internally with the network team, please allow us few days. also there is a duplicate of the same thread here
I would recommend to close one of the threads so that we can track it better

Hi Anshu.
Please check AM64x as well as AM65x as our sales guy promoted both chips. However customer is interested at low cose device AM64x. e.g. 6442, 6411.
The competitor device is Xilinx MPSoC. If AM64x would support the Jumbo frame, they would select the FPGA only device. not Multicore SOC due to cost issue.

Jack
Currently there is no support for Jumbo frame feature with any networking protocol, and there is no plan to support it.
Some questions:
What protocol he is planning to use: Ethernet, EtherCat...?
Which peripheral he wants to use CPSW or ICSS?
If we can support it?
- It seems difficult to support with Ethernet but might be easier with EtherCat - will require PRU firmware development work.

Himanshu
Thanks Himanshu.
They would use Ethernet and CPSW. But the customer will cancel the project due to feature NOT supported. ㅜ.ㅜ

Jack
