TMS320DM8148: Video secure vs. non-video secure variants

Comparing the TMS320DM8148CCYEA0 to the TMS320DM8148SCYEA0, the S is for video security. Is there any SW or power supply impact related to that part difference? Does the SW binary need to be recompiled or is there significantly more power draw for this version?

I really doubt there is any SW impact related to part difference. Not sure from HW point of view. Will have to check with HW team.

Hello, The only difference is that the TPPSS IP doesn't exist on the DM8148C part. You can use software from the DM8148C on the DM8148S with no impact on software or power/performance.
